All applications are treated equally regardless of the language of submission, so please submit in the language you are most comfortable with. Applications are also accepted in Francais, Español, and Portuguese.
Important notes:
- Previous recipients of Aspire grants are eligible to apply again for a new grant on a different topic. However, priority will be given to applicants who have not previously received a grant.
- Each applicant can submit one application. Multiple submissions in one year will not be considered.
- If the budget requested is above $5,000, your application will not be considered.
- We cannot cover tuition fees, please do not include them in your budget.
- Funding is intended for projects that involve collecting empirical data in the field. Proposals relying solely on modeling or desk‑based analyses are discouraged.
- Incomplete applications will not be considered.
- The results will be communicated in December 2026- January 2027. Start date for the selected research projects should be January 2027
- Applications that do not follow the instructions of the template English Aspire Application Template will not be considered.
Instructions to Apply

2. Complete each section of the application as indicated.
3. Combine all sections of the application into a single pdf.
The final application must include the following in the order below.
a) COVER PAGE
b) PROJECT PROPOSAL
c) BUDGET (Max $5,000)
d) CURRICULUM VITAE (CV)
e) TWO LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION on official letterhead and signed
